Why does any mention of gun safety or gun regulation make so many gun owners feel so threatened? There are far too many gun owners in this country that are straight up irresponsible, and don’t respect the lethality of their firearms, or are too stupid, or are careless, or are too fearful. Not everyone should be trusted with a gun in their possession, do you agree?

I’m not out to take your guns, but the lack of accountability and responsibility surround our fun culture is asinine and should be talked about. It’s ok to try to stop preventable deaths by holding gun owners accountable. You would think law- abiding citizens who own guns, would want their fellow gun- owning neighbors to advocate for gun safety. If anyone, these people should understand the importance of not being reckless with their firearms.
