"Looked down upon" is not remotely the same as silencing opposition. Plenty of SJWs have doxed, gotten people fired, threatened, and otherwise behaved like part of a mob.

I can make a distinction between conservatism (which I want utterly destroyed and about as taboo as, say, being gay was fifty years ago) and conservatives (who are mostly just dumb).
And there we have it. You don't just want to oppose someone's beliefs, you want those beliefs destroyed. Made taboo.

You're engaging in the classic "motte and bailey" strategy. You pretend what this is only about you when pressed on any issue, as if that were the problem. What you want is only one set of opinions to be allowed in society. It's a form of low-resolution totalitarianism, and the only reason SJWs don't openly attempt to use the law to silence opposition is that they don't have the legal power to do so in the US.
