Ugly ducklings of askgaybros, what is your story and what is an ugly truth you learned about people/Society as a result?

Hmm. Well I was ugly and still consider myself ugly but I’ve had to learn that being ugly was no reason to simply not do things that I thought attractive people did like workout or anything in general really.

There was a situation where this girl from HS would call me ugly but later on we became friends and I told her I think I have body dysmorphia and she told me she hated people who complained about their looks. So now whenever I see someone lashing out about their looks and people scorning them for thinking like an incel or whatnot I have to wonder how many of them have been bullies not wanting to take responsibility for why their victims turn out the way they do. If that makes sense at all…
