Eh I wouldn't say clout directly, more so because of friendships/groups - e.g. kid grows up in X area, becomes friends with X people, X people don't like Y people, X kid sees X people beef Y people, X people don't like Y people - X kills Y, X kid is shown this is the way, X kid goes on to beef Y kid, X kills Y kid. The cycle repeats.

Sometimes it'll go like: X individual is friends with Y individual, Y doesn't like Z, therefore X doesn't like Z. Z takes the beef too far by killing Y's friends, X & Y retaliate kill Z's friend. And just like that a beef/'gang war' is formed.

It's always for fucking dumb reasons. Social Media makes the beef worse, because gangs get 'exposed' for being pussies/lame/victims, and that pressures them to do something..
