When what really happened was that Russia conquered the region, organized into a large province for it to rule and exploit more efficiently, then lost it completely unintentionally. Then they took it back by force, and then later lost it again. And recently they invaded it again, this time though they didn't take all of it because they know full well what the West would do to them if they did.
''We saved Ukrainians from Poland''... really ? No way a temporarily expanded Poland would have been able to hold on to Ukraine after the upcoming World War II.
Then you have this wonderful ''Ukraine has no history'' comment and he goes on to trash all of it. Really, fuckhead ? It has as much history as your country- in fact, arguably more since what we call Russia descends from the Moscow principality, founded much later than Kiev. Cossacks weren't perfect angels ? I also love the claim that the Rus state was Russian because its kings originally married Slavic women from Novgorod, which is now in Russia (a country which didn't exist yet, mind you). Well guess what, even earlier their Kings married Nordic women, so I'm sorry you don't have any claim at all to Kievan Rus history, it really belongs to the Swedes!
