Hotshotgg - Thoughts on TP

Can we not chunk the west as one, but start separating EU and NA like we do china and Korea, especially when the regions have extremely different situations regarding imports.

They have very different playstyles, and are pretty far apart talent-wise. Ex: 2 of EUs koreans would be top 2 at their position. 1 Was brought partially to help transfer another Korean, and is pretty mid tier (Sven and amazing are easily better than R/O, and dexter, jankos, shook all close too). R/O isn't even known for his mechanics, but his pathing and pressure which his coach could've helped him much more than his nationality. The last one was used as an emergency sub when the teams jungler left a few weeks before playoffs, and may or may not stay on UoL. EU is also 92% European right now, and has at most 2 imports in a role, with 2 roles importless. Korean imports replacing EU talent isn't a big problem in EU tbh.

In NA on the other hand, people joke about the NA superteam having 4 Koreans and a Danish mid laner on it for reasons, and it's because most of NA's talent in imports, a lot of which Korean. Even with these Koreans, NA aren't looking hot and it seems like 4 regions will outperform them this worlds.

On the subject of international competition, of the top 3 Korean teams only one looks scary strong. More than 3 chinese teams look good, with LDG and EDG still being ahead of competition too, and in EU FNC is still a dark horse as far as international level is concerned. OG Might also show up against Koo/Cj/Kt/Ig/ect. Faker is also a horrible example because he's dominated Korean mids since he started playing professionally, barring pawn sometimes solo-killing him in his prime. So the absolute #1 Korean is also the best player world-wide ever right now, but plenty of chinese and european players are world-class/elite too.
