What was your "I don't get paid enough for this shit" moment?

I used to work at a local coffee shop in not the greatest neighborhood. I definitely had multiple times where I was I about to just say "fuck it," but this one was the one that did it for me. One day someone (still don't know who it was to this day) came into the shop only to bleed buckets all over the concrete. Now somehow no one saw it happen. I was in charge at the time, but I have never encountered something like this at work. Being the shitty business owner that my ex-boss was we had ZERO policy on how to behave in such situations. I blocked off the area and call my ex-boss.

Me: Hey, someone left pools of blood all over the shop. How do I clean this up?! Him: Just clean it up! Me: Um, okay... I assume this is human blood, I don't want to get sick cleaning this up. Him: Just clean it click

Okay. WTF. I then had to google proper practices for cleaning up blood. Cleaned that shit up and was thoroughly grossed out by cleaning the blood and my ex-bosses behavior.

Fast forward two hours. The phone rings and my boss at the time asked to talk to me.

Me: What's up? Him: I checked the cameras and what were you guys thinking? Me: I cleaned up the blood and I bleached everything, it should be good. Him: You guys stood around like idiots instead of just cleaning it up like I said! What are you thinking!? Me: I was thinking that I didn't want to get some strangers blood all over the shop and all over me and since you can't post proper procedure from something like this, I had to google everything. Him: That's not an excuse! I'm coming in. (He proceeded to come down to the shop and berate all of us for not just taking care of it)

I was mind blown. I quit maybe a month after that when both my paychecks bounced. I literally wasn't getting paid enough for that shit.
