Thank you OP for saying it. I didn't like it either and I wanted to like it so much. I loved season 1, even re-watched it (and still loved it) before getting started with season 2. Season 2 had some mildly entertaining moments but overall I found it to be a huge letdown. Brownie points for doing something different in season 2 and not repeating the same idea again though but it didn't work for me. I'd say it's a well-produced show but boring, the story doesn't really need 7 episodes. My personal highlight was the use of the old song "Morgen" by Ivo Robić - must have been one of the first (and very few) German-language songs that were commercially successful in the U.S.
