Unvaccinated woman who got Covid-19 twice while pregnant has close brush with death

For what? Pointing out that doctors give contradicting advice and that some of that advice not only does not follow the guideline, but also results in some pregnant lady having what the article describes as "close brush with death"? Why is it such a sore point? The doctor in this case was obviously wrong. Tho it is somewhat ridiculous that the lady got infected twice, when most of us have not even gotten it once.

Don't know if you've seen my other comments but I do know someone who got turned away at the vaccination center by the on-site doctor on the basis of being in first trimester, only then to be pushed by her gynae to get a jab ASAP. I've also explained why some doctors don't want pregnant women to get the jab in first trimester and why it's nonsensical. The argument that the lady had kidney issue is also nonsense, because by the time she entered second trimester she would already have a formed placenta and her kidneys would have to filter out the baby's metabolic products too.
