Listen I know you know exactly what I mean. If you don't then I question your intelligence (sorry).

Don't take things out of context, they are written in context for a reason. Let's not get into a debate on whats fair, unfair, valid, invalid bottom line really is the WP WDR1 is dare i say frowned upon playstyle, this is what i've gathered from observation. Many people don't like it if you really cannot see that then you are close minded or living in some fantasy land. This isn't just me who doesn't like it either don't make it out like that's the case - I stated such about the darksword and estoc because the WP WDR1 is in league with them.

Cheap, easy that any idiot can pull off it takes almost no skill to pull off and yes its effective cos why? it does huge damage, diffcult to defend against, fast (estoc r1 fast), diffcult to parry (dont kid yourself and say its easy to fucking parry, it isn't easy to parry a spear tip nor a running r1 that comes out as fast as an estoc r1), has huge range, with dark souls 3 poor connectivity issues it can have absolute absurd hit ranges/angles.

Its simply run around> wait for opening> running r1. That's it and its a joke. If you say its easy to counter you're kidding cos the guy on the other end of the washing pole isn't just gonna charge headlong into nothing he's just fishing for the WDR1 counter. Can you chase him? yeah with an ultra greatsword sure /s can you chase him with a straight sword? no cos he'll just fucking outrange you, can you chase him with a spear? no cos its too slow, I wont even mention anything else cos half an idiot using a WP can run from it and then its just back to fishing for the WDR1. So fun man, Everyone should just use it and negate whats fair or not eh? /s

As for the fencing thing, that sport at a competitive level is almost a joke on how its scored, so it just boils down to literally just run as fast as you can into your opponent praying you land first cos if you don't you lose and that's the sport of competitive fencing. Kind of like if two WP WDR1 users fought each other.

I'm not going to sway your opinion and that's really the last i'll say on this.
