You're making the point I was thinking about a while back: he warns me himself most of the time (as in, not like that time last week for example) when he's away, so internally I'm thinking "oh, then we're... something?", but we're** not** officially into anything. I still get expectations because it looks like progress, but nothing has been stated, so as you confirmed: it's a bit much to ask, unless we are/were into a relationship.

I think you're right, I do need that clarification. First though I feel I have to chill myself down a bit for my own good aswell, regain some kind of calm about the whole deal and enter it more lightly. I wont go into details because it's a boring short story from last year but the person I met before him wasn't good. Luckily nothing happened but it broke my habit of seeing things evolving naturally and logically. Since then I question things a lot, which doesn't help when you're already on the insecure side.

I hope im not intruding but when you say you were that person before, was it also in a LDR? Again thank you for your advices.
