You used to be able to buy this font (The 1975's Logo Font) - you no longer can. Anyone know where to get it? Having trouble vectoring it

My suggestion would be to use one that works well in a similar fashion. By the looks of it this typeface was meant to work only for selected words like the original author intended. Letters like S, U, R, T, W, C, etc are heavy one one side and can be problematic kerning wise where you end up with a ton of white space. As for H, I don't even know what to say, likely the worst letter in there that will pose a ton of issues but like I said I think the author didn't intend for this to be used in random blocks of text. It all started with that sunbather font and people have gone crazy over it since then and have been using it where it's not supposed to be used. If you're going to be using several words or sentences, then what you want is something that has uniform whitespace/volume within letters so they don't look too detached when put against another letter. Commercialtype has one that works well, there's a few others too but I can't remember. All the free ones I've seen so far face the same issue and some are drawn horribly.
