Hillary supporters: What do you see in Hillary that you don't in Bernie? Bernie supporters: What do you see in Bernie that you don't in Hillary?

Bernie supporter. Happily voting for whomever gets the Dem nomination because "the right to choose" turns me into a single-issue voter, nearly.

What I see in Sanders that I don't in Clinton: honesty, integrity, commitment to the ideas he says. If he takes up an issue enough to talk about it I believe that he'll fight tooth and nail for it, either because he personally cares (economic inequality) or because he recognises that he works for the people and they care (here's an article about his ambivalence / admiration with hunters / gun owners in rural areas, but I think racial issues, a little unfortunately, resonate with him on this level). I think he's a little naive, but I also think his ego isn't so big / his politics so blind that he's unwilling to listen to experts as part of his cabinet and his / their slew of advisers. (he's simplistic on banking reform, but his raison d'etre is people living well, not breaking up banks necessarily)

What I see in Clinton that I don't in Sanders: For better or for worse, she's a Washington insider with probably more political capital, although lots of enemies too. I think she's better able to make things happen, but the problem is, with a Republican congress, whatever comes out of that will be a disappointment, especially because her positions (which I wonder if she'll move more to he right of) are already compromises to me. If she's had any political capital to lend the past eight years, then what she was fighting against was worse than I expected, or she's not as committed to my issues as I wish she were. Sanders is closer to what I want politically and as a feminist the most disappointing thing is that the first woman with a real short as the presidency does not reflect my crazy-pinko-leftist-whatever values as much as the man does.

What I want to see that I don't see in either: A plan to let the south secede already with Donald Trump as president and let the remaining states join Canada as a new province.
