Usurpers! The banes of kings! Tell me about yours. (If posting, comment on two others)

An ancient vampire king called Xitala was betrayed and cast into a cursed imprisonment by his siblings, a torture of which he would never die from. He was left bound and unable to die, and he eventually stopped thinking, becoming a living corpse bound for all of time. In spite, his sibling also claimed he planned to sacrifice his subjects for godhood, staining his name for all of history to come.

Thousands of years later, the sibling monarchy is long gone save its remnants, and a new monarchy stands for the hidden clan of cave dwelling vampires, one of strong morality and justice, hunting down blood hungering beasts and the like. The legend of the Betrayer King are still told, and he is still seen as a mythic threat to vampire kind should he return.

One fateful night, an inquisition into an old royal palace found deep in the earth reveals an old figure binded in chains and cloth head to toe. Soon, Xitala wakes once more from his immortal prison, and is forced into a new world with his stained name, his siblings damning him from beyond the grave.

The lost king must now face a clan that sees him as a threat to the world's safety, and his name is forever stained as the "Betrayer King"
