The vapeholes have taken over..

As someone who has just started exploring vaping as an alternative to my 25 year smoking habit (I ordered my first kit today), On first impressions the vaping youtubers have put me off a little. They seem to largely be assholes, except for pbusardo who seems to give good reviews without all the 'vaping is cool' bullshit.

IRL I know a few people who use pen type kits. I always meet them in smoking areas despite the fact that they could have vaped inside the premises if they wanted to. None of them have ever mentioned vaping to me unless I asked a question.

Then I started looking into it on my own and discover all the assholes on youtube who try to turn it into some sort of hip/cool under culture.

The youtubers that are rising to the top are the ones that are to blame for the whole 'vaping is cool' culture.

While I'm on a rant.

Why do all the douche bag reviewers think that we need to see them puffing big clouds for a few minutes before they say anything related to the reason we clicked on the link in the first place? Fuck off, I came here for a product review, not to watch you chug at your fancy mod kit while trying to impress your viewers.

Why are some of the review videos so needlessly long? I like model helicopters. Some of the build videos for those are shorter than the mod reviews. It's just a smoking device, not a flying machine that could decapitate you if you don't do things right.

Most of the reviewers I've seen on youtube don't seem to have anything bad to say about any products (pbusardo aside again). When you scratch the surface, a lot of the products they bum up have some pretty big problems. Are they just doing it to get free shit and internet props?
