Honestly mate, I despair when I see people react the way you do. I know that you do the same when you see what people like me say, but give a little ground. Surely you can see that Islam is a cult that promotes backwards beliefs. Surely you look at Islamic majority countries and can see that Sharia is equivalent to tribal barbarism.

Of course I acknowledge there are problems of racism/ homophobia in society, and we're fighting against that. We've made huge progress on the homosexuality, thank God. I've been to plenty of matches and never seen any racism. Yes, I've heard broad generalisations and it's a problem. I'm not a black and white thinker like you might believe. No Muslims aren't the root of all evil, no white people aren't spotless. You're putting words into my mouth like you have been the entire time.

It's not about race or skin color either. I'm not calling out Indians, I'm not calling out Pakistanis, I'm not calling out Africans or Asians. I'm calling out Islam.

Honestly, you're being willfully ignorant if you think this religion that actively preaches intolerance of homosexuality, hatred towards jews and an idea of otherness from non believers is not at all a problem. Especially when 9% of UK kids are indoctrinated in it by their parents/ imams. Forced to go to scripture school 3 times a week. Banned from playing with non Muslim children.

Maybe it will open your eyes a bit to the fact that a backwards cultish religion does not mix well with a secular society. See the immense pain it causes to those born into the cult who question, or who are gay and struggle to reconcile their identity without being expelled/ rushed.
