That’s chasing the HRT carrot; at some point people have to realize that surgeries like FFS, and breast augmentation are needed. The problem is that people on the internet are virtually guaranteeing that HRT is magic, so a lot of people are putting all of their hopes in the HRT basket. The reality is that the feminizing effects of HRT are subtle and cumulative over several years; and the effects vary from person to person, and is also dependent on what someone looks like before they start HRT, so if someone is close to passing as a cis female before they start HRT they may pass with just HRT, but most MtF will need at least some FFS to pass, and probably other feminizing surgeries; and some will not pass even with every surgery.
