Its not really similar to it. It has anime girls in it but other than that its completely different.

It follows a story about a dude who has to go to a HS for disabled children after getting heart attack. There he meets 5 (or more if you count side characters) girls each with completely different stories, disabilities, personalities and ambitions. A blind tall European girl, a girl without legs who is a track star, a girl who has severe burns and is very shy, a bossy class president and a girl without arms who paints paintings.

You choose a girl after picking some small choices (there are barely any choices in the VN) and you follow through 4 chapter to go to either bad, neutral or good ending with that girl.

Its an amazing VN and is definitely my number 1 favorite game of all time (story wise). Amazing story and one of the three games that actually brought me to tears from happiness. I highly advise you to try it and believe me that you wont be able to put it down. Each girl route takes about 5 hours to complete (but that time will fly fast).

P.S. Before you ask. Yes you are able to have lewd scenes with all the girls. Each route has 1-3 scenes in total. All of them except 1 add to the story quite a bit, so they are not just there for fanservice. Some of the h-scenes are actually hilarious.
