Special Heroes

• Abathur has been removed from the game. Players who previously purchased this hero and or skins for this hero will have their purchases refunded.
  
• Developer Insight - We feel like Abathur had a negative effect where players who played him thoroughly enjoyed the smell of their own farts too much, thus resulting in a negative gameplay experience for the other 9 players in the game.
• New restrictions on matchmaking. No longer will allow for a combination resulting in multiple 'special' heroes on the same team (Abathur, The Lost Vikings, Murky, Nova, Zeratul, Cho'gall)

Matchmaking

• Bans are now implemented in Hero and Team Leagues. Each team will receive one ban which will take place during their first picks respectively. The player who selects which Hero will be banned will be chosen based on matchmaking rating.
• New queue system for Hero League. Players can now queue for a specific role (Tank, Assassin, Specialist, Support). Matchmaking will attempt to assemble groups containing at least one of each. Players who do not select a hero from their corresponding role may be reported and receive bans for enough actionable offenses.
• Developer Insight - This should fix issues where players may now play a role they feel comfortable in without ruining their teams chances for winning. Hero League requires a player to own at least 10 heroes because we expect players to be prepared to play heroes other than their preferred pet heroes.
• It should no longer be possible for a player who queues Solo to go up against a group of 5 players in Quick Match. Ever.
  
• 5 player groups in quick match should now expect slightly longer queue times. In the event of the queue taking too long - 5 player groups will receive an in game prompt reminding them about the existence of Team League.

• It is now possible to gift Heroes and Skins to your friends!
