Long version: So I'm a veteran WoW player that jumped ship before WoD dropped (financial issues + birth of child) and I'm finally getting back into the game after Blizzard kindly gave me free WoD, level 90, and 7 days play time. I used some spare money to purchase 1 month of playtime, but we really do not have the income to support the constant subscription anymore.

Thus, I'm trying to get back into gold-making and using the AH, with the intentions of farming enough gold to buy a Token every month. At the moment I have about 20k gold spread across one level 93, one lvl 91, and one lvl 87. I only have 2 garrisons that I can use, one of which is recently level 2, and another which is still lvl 1. I am not currently geared enough to handle farming 25H Cata raids.

With this in mind, what would you recommend for optimizing my gold-making in the remaining playtime I have? Keep in mind that I have a full time job and a toddler, so 1-3 hours max playtime per day. I do have TSM and have been using it to great effect so far - logged in on my old lvl 90 main and started with about 2k gold, now have bumped it up to 20k.

Would it be more profitable to focus on powerleveling to 100 to start farming those Cata raids, to focus on optimizing my available garrisons, or to focus on farming old content like transmogs (in light of the upcoming transmog changes)?

Thank you in advance for your advice. I've been doing a lot of research to try and bring myself up to speed with all the changes since early MoP, but there's so much to learn and re-learn I quickly became overwhelmed. Could really use a few suggestions on where to put my focus in order to obtain that last 23-25k to get a Token. (Obviously with the intent of optimizing a sustainable gold-making plan to lead into Legion with, in order to continue purchasing the Tokens.)

And hopefully none of this came off too noob-ish. I heartily apologize if it did. ;-)

TL;DR: I'm a returning player without a level 100 or level 3 garrison; what is the best thing to aim my gold-making focus on in order to optimize my ability to use Tokens to play WoW for free?
