Weekly FI Monday Milestone thread - October 26, 2020

Shit is going great. My wife and I both got promoted, which will probably result in $90K more TC between the two of us next year. AND we crossed $1M liquid NW, subject to market whims obviously. Breakdown is:

$302K taxable index funds (mostly VTSAX) $423K 401Ks/Roth IRAs $240K FAANG vested RSUs (yes I know this is too high) $66K bank accounts

This doesn't include another $450K in home equity.

October has been a massive month for us, and I can't really talk about it with anyone in my life. Heck even my wife is kind of playing it cool and managing her expectations, because there's still a long way to go - we might stay in our VHCOL area in RE, so we're aiming for $3.5M to be safe. But whatever, I'm still doing somersaults inside. Eff yeah, we're doing it! Thanks to this sub for the space to celebrate :-)
