Is there some centralized guide on accessing Japanese media?

The reason I ask is because it's different for every medium (like for example, on the Switch it's very easy to access the Japanese store and directly purchase games, but on Steam, there's no legal way to purchase games meant for Japan), and I've gotten so tired of really wanting to play a game, until I realize there's no legal way for me to play it in Japanese.

My latest annoyance is Final Fantasy Tactics, which is available only on emulators or on mobile devices, and the mobile version is region locked.

This has to be a constant issue for other people as well, right? Not just me. I imagine the vast majority of this subreddit are people who would like to access Japanese media but do not live in Japan. It's kind of strange to me that the community hasn't made a centralized effort to collect all the resources we have, or list known games with Japanese language availability, etc.
