Weird vibe from Brittany's YouTube channel

I absolutely agree with you. I tried to make a post about it, but it got deleted.

It bothers me that she´s exaggerated everything SO much. She talks about it like she nearly escaped death. There was next to no physical abuse. There was minimal emotional abuse. Basically the story can be sumarized as: she jumped into a relationship with a sketchy dude who wasn´t very nice to her and conned her out of money. Everything else is pure speculation.

I absolutely sympathize with domestic abuse victims (myself having been one!) but I think it´s honestly gross that she´s:

  1. overdramatized everything, which makes light of actual serious abuse victims and detracts from ACTUAL victims of sex trafficking (which she is NOT! she just thought that maybe possibly perhaps those were his intentions, based on no actual evidence).

  2. turning abuse into a cash grab. She could have used this platform to EDUCATE her audience about how to recognize the red flags, how to detect if a loved one is being abused, etc. But no, it was an over dramatized me me me book 100% for profit. She could have donated a percentage to a charity related to domestic abuse, but no.

The whole thing is gross. I´m sorry she was in a crappy situation and of course I sympathize with what she DID go through. But everything about the way she handled it afterwards is immoral and gross.

From months of clickbait videos, to (let´s be honest) lying about loads of details (i.e calling herself a survivor when there are so many women who actually did have to survive deadly situations)

I mean, honestly, this was her first ever relationship. She was a self-admitted virgin before Milos. She was super naive, he was a bit of a con artist.... but she has overblown it so much.

So basically... I think it´s wrong for her to dramatize and exaggerate what happened to her because it takes away from actual severe abuse victims who weren´t famous and couldn´t publish thier own cash grab book about it.

I am going to be super downvoted for typing this, but whatever.
