Well Aang escalated quickly...

I don't enjoy korra for many reason, but the simplest I can put my finger on is that the story and character felt so... Incoherent? Like I am all for progression of character and all but seeing the behavior of characters of the series didn't pass them off as very "human" meaning I couldn't really emphatize with them, in TLA all of Aang's plights and his supporting cast were very believable. Another point is on the goddamn romance, please the romance just felt dumb to me, I'm not watching avatar for the romance, put that shit on the back burner. And my biggest gripe by far is how talented they made Korra, that just took any chances of me emphatizing with her and threw it out the window. I liked watching the struggles aang faced having to learn the different elements, learn the different mindset with each, learn about the avatar state. Korea? She's God at the end of season 1 as far as I could see (I know there are powerful villains but you get my point, her avatar journey is already ended by the time the first season is done). Also, God is there loopholes and a lot of storytelling which just feels lazy to me, this point especially resonates with the romance, I know everyone loves the romance in the end, I could not care who she ended up with as long as it made sense... It just felt like the scriptwriters bended her character to their wills and all her interactions with the characters around her.
