I went through all interviews for a mid size start up, they told me today that it’s too close to call and that we will both do one last interview. How do I close the deal?

Had this happen to me. If you end up not getting picked (like I did), network and the add relevant people you encountered on LinkedIn (if you use that platform).

The job you’re at isn’t permanent, but the people you build your network with are; you win either way in this situation. They like you enough to be added to their network, and will probably be more inclined to accept because you had pleasant experiences with them already. They will remember you not only for that, but for your competency if you use them as a connection later down the line.

The industry is small, and their network will grow and change and possibly intersect with you at some point.
