What was actually cool in the 90s, that is still cool today?

It depends, in my school you have 3 types of the whole "angst-music" groups.

Group 1 would be the 'anything angsty and depressing group (REM, Radiohead, The Smiths, etc.) These guys typically act as casual people, pretty chill.

Group 2 would be the 'my angst is heard in their loudness' group (Black Veil Brides, Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce The Veil) These guys typically act as the 'Emos'. They're friendly as fuck until you insult their music or sexuality.

And Group 3 would be the 'american angst' group (Blink 182, Green Day, Wheatus) These guys are usually the assholes. Not all of them are, I'm friends with a good few but a lot of them will have a go at you for having a 'Capitalist Starbucks'

However, there is a bonus Group 4, my favourite group. The group where kids decide to listen to whatever they want and not be forced into a boundary. These guys are always awesome.

I thought I might add this as it is relative to the subject; Here is a list of my top 10 bands/artists of all time (remember folks, there is no right or wrong answer to this)

  1. Nirvana

  2. Radiohead

  3. The Smiths

  4. The Pixies

  5. Bruce Springsteen

  6. Jeff Buckley

  7. The Smashing Pumpkins

  8. Wolf Alice

  9. The Cure

  10. Jimi Hendrix
