What Are The Most Overrated Parts of Vermont? (Survey)

First, it’s more affordable. You can still spend plenty of money in Richmond but overall more affordable.

Charlotte doesn’t really have a “town” like Richmond does, I thought that would have been nice.

Finally, it just took us a really long time to settle here, find friends, etc. I think it would have been easier in Richmond, people seem nicer.

We also looked in Shelburne. For our price range, we would have most likely ended up in a subdivision in Shelburne, which is what I grew up in and has a lot of perks, but we wanted something a little more rural. I think that would have been easier in Richmond too.

We lived in Jericho for a year when we first moved here. I liked it there.

The final push to move in Charlotte/ Shelburne was that I’m an hour closer to family that live in NY.
