In early july a hold was placed on aid going to Ukraine who is currently in conflict with Russia. On july 18th intelligence agencies were notified that this hold was done at the direction of the president. 1 week later trump talked to zelensky on the phone then that SAME DAY the whitehouse put out an official withholding letter on the $250m.

So you are flat out wrong. Aid was withheld, and it's because trump wanted it that way. What are your ideas on why he wanted it withheld?
