What is the best decision that you made in 2016?

Contrary to the rest of the world, which deems 2016 as one terrible year, for me it was awesome, as it was the year when I managed to cross many pending issues from my personal to-do list.

  • I graduated from university (something I had been postponing for many years).
  • I lost 12 kilos, and started working out again, and I finally got to be more content with my body than ever before.
  • I took a long vacation in the US, and had quite a lot of fun.
  • I lost my job at the end of 2015, but I was able to freelance my way into a better salary than I had at my previous job. (Albeit with some help from friends and from some great people I had known along my professional career who helped me get some great clients).
  • I got an amazing new job (with lots of responsibility and a great pay) just last month. And the best part is that I almost didn't take it, because I was doing great with my freelancing. But this is more fun I guess.
  • I started to see a therapist, and I'm finally solving some very disturbing OCD issues I've had since I was a teenager.
  • I very much tried to solve my broken relationship with my dad, and while it didn't work, at least I can say I tried, and I don't feel it's my fault anymore. So that's a great thing for me.

I guess in the dating department things weren't that great, but that may be starting to change too. So for me it was an amazing year, and one that proved that if instead of sitting all day long watching netflix I actually did something, things could get better.
