My mom worked for a call center and was calling in our area. Boy answers the phone and my mom asks to speak with his mom, he said she died. My mom feels TERRIBLE, but is trying to do her job so then asks to speak with his dad, kid says hes in prison for killing the mom. This was way back in the day, long before "them internet's" but she'd heard about it in the news just hadn't made the association with the name until that phone call.

Oh, and when I was in Junior High, the married on-campus police officer had an affair with my 14 yr old classmate. I actually don't know which girl it was, but he lost his job and went to prison because of it. Yikes! (And if you went to MJH and know who, feel free to comment, I don't watch tv and I'm curious to see what she's up to nowadays.)
