People rightfully dislike people placing blame for the murder on Dick. That’s not on him. Brynn was wildly unstable even when she was clean, she would have started doing drugs again with or without him. If you said “Andy Dick is responsible for Phil’s murder,” you’re placing the blame in the wrong place and people were right to disagree — not downvote, but disagree.

Dick is a Dumpster fire for other reasons, though: he seems to genuinely enjoy his place in the situation, like he’s happy to be involved in some way in someone being murdered. The vile “curse” bullshit and the things he’s said about both of them — that’s why he got clocked, and why he deserved it. If you said any of that, well, I have no idea why anyone would ever defend that part of it.
