The Landmark Forum. I did it a few years back and it was really strange…It was described to me as a personal development course and basically it was a bunch of people that paid to sit in a room for 3 days with multiple speakers that basically told victims of horrible abuse that their real trauma was just a story they tell themselves and that if you are depressed, struggling, etc. that you are choosing to be that way. What made it cult-like was the fact that they wanted you to pay for their ongoing courses and tell all your friends and family about doing the Landmark program. I remember they gave us an assignment during a break to call 3 people to tell them about how great the program is. I know the the program has been helpful to some, but it definitely had cult vibes
