What is the dark side of your personality that you work very hard to keep it under control?

I honestly wish Facebook had never been invented because ignorance was bliss. Knowing the political views of my family and co-workers is just fucking depressing and it's honestly not the sort of stuff that would come up in face to face conversation. At least not every conversation.

I'm not trying to be edgy I just honestly wish I didn't know. It's been heart breaking watching my what my little sister posts. It's like watching her brain rot in realtime. At the end of the day we are herd animals and we pretty much just pick up the opinions of those around us, and the never left our small minded hometown.

Stoicism and Buddhism books actually help me quite a bit because at their core they help separate the thing from your emotional reaction to the thing while also fighting the good fight.
