What did the pandemic ruin more than we realise?

Things like construction are usually also halted by the weather

I've worked all over Canada (from east to west) in construction for over 10 years and I've never seen a site shut down completely because of weather. Certain types of work on a site (outside, at heights, etc.) may be shut down because of conditions, certain types of work may be time limited during extreme temperatures, but shut down? The only thing that shuts down a construction site is a workers death. Even a sever injury will result in a stand down for a couple hours, but not a shut down.

If weather shut down sites nothing in certain parts of Canada would never get built.
