There was a period after Syndicate weapons were released where Rakta Ballistica was considered far and away the worst among them, and Synoid Gammacor was the best.

I asked in trade chat if anyone was willing to trade a Rakta Ballistica for a Synoid Gammacor for Mastery. Took a few days but finally got a hit.

But right after I invited the guy to my dojo for the trade, he made the claim that given how stilted the trade was (since we both knew Rakta Ballistica was bad and Synoid Gammacor was considered the best), I really should be giving him plat just to take Rakta off my hands. Since it was the first hit I'd had in days I paid him 20p for it and gave him the gun.

Kicked myself for it almost immediately afterwards.

Then later on the Rakta Ballistica got buffed significantly and Synoid Gammacor was nerfed hard. So. Salt in the wound.
