I think I hit the lottery in the Army. You see, I got a medical retirement within six years of service as a 92Y who never deployed once for OIF or OEF during my enlistment in the years of 2005-2011. I even volunteered to go in 2006 and was told there was "no slot" for me. Go figure.
I eventually went on to a long vacation in Eastern Europe after my retirement at 24 years of age and got engaged to a 9/10 porn star quality Eastern European fiancé who eventually immigrated to America and married me. I was a broke ass veteran who no job with only my pension to survive on in a small ass room I rented. Everyone and I mean every damn soul said that she married me for the green card and will dump my fat ass as soon as she gets it.
Fast forward to the day she finally gets her green card a few months after we married, she went to the Army recruiting office nearest us and took the pre ASVAB. After a few months of gathering paperwork and getting our shit straight she finally swore in and enlisted just four months after she got her green card. Her BCT and AIT experience was very difficult as she was in her mid 20's and didn't understand the good ole "American culture" and she had to tough it up. She was able to graduate BCT and became a distinguished graduate in her AIT.
She has been in active duty for two years and and we are still married. She gets bombarded with joes attention all the time. Hell, even the brigade CSM personally picked her to be his "personal assistant" a job that he just created from thin air that isn't on any MTOE. He had to PCS but hooked her up in a very chill unit before he left.
What makes my situation so interesting is the fact that she is an attractive white girl that's enlisted in active duty Army which is very rare, because most hot white females are either officers or spouses. Now, if you're talking about hot Hispanic or Black females enlisted, the proportion is much higher. I know Army National Guard and reserves has a higher ratio of enlisted hot white females.
And the cherry on top of the sundae? I'm her "dependent" and get Tricare prime through her. I am an average looking but kinda tall 6'2 and big 210 lbs Asian guy. How often do you ever see an Asian dude that is married a hot white female when the Asian guy is not rich and his wife is in active duty Army when most of her colleagues that salivate to her are married to
