You know what I'm getting tired of..?

To the one telling you that you look tired: "Have you put a little weight on?", that usually shuts down deliberate attempts to put you on the back foot. When they protest, casually remind them you don't need their shit bringing ypou down. Its ok to put some boundaries in place; even with family and mean-wells.

If they've had kids, remind them its not all smiles and rainbows- its bloody hard work keeping the blessed little bundles alive, just for that little stretch they give or a nice latch that feels loving, or just 30 mins of sleep.

Ignore the negativity theres enough shit to deal with. Look at your little one... aren't they just the most precious and gorgeous little thing ever? The soft delicate skin, the little closed eyes, that cute little nose?! (mine is on my lap right now!)

There we go, look at that! Your battery is recharged to maximum again!

(Stay strong, lots of water and good vegatables for mommy, get daddy to help if he can (we're ace at nappy changes once you show us!), and please---- sleep when baby sleeps, just close your eyes; it doesn't have to be deep; just get the little naps in.)

YOU CAN DO THIS BECAUSE YOUR SUPER MOMMY.
