What is the most childish thing you have ever witnessed an adult do?

I used to live with my Grandpa for a while. One day, my Uncle called. Drunk as can be ( Typical)

He wanted to talk to my Grandpa. But my Grandpa didn't want to talk to him.

So, my Uncle drunkenly cussed me out and insulted the entire family. He even went as far as saying gross sexual things about my sister who was pregnant at the time and just ranted like a drunken moron because I wouldn't try to force my Grandpa to talk on the phone.

A full blown tantrum. This man was in his late 60s.

Needless to say, I decided then and there I don't want him in my life at all anymore.

I did see him one time after that. When my Grandpa died. A few months after this incident. He was at the funeral.

When he saw me, I swear I saw a hint of embarrassment in his eyes for a split second. He should be.

That all said, gee, I wonder why my Grandpa didn't want to talk to him.

In some ways I feel bad for my Uncle. That incident was the closest thing to a last conversation they had.

"Nah, tell your Uncle I don't really want to talk to him"

I suppose he brought that on himself though.
