Couple ideas (excuse nasty spelling/grammar):
On the outskirts of Vale/Beacon, Adam is seen retreating, very battered and bloodied, gasping for air, clothing torn and covering half of his face with one hand, showing a broken mask as his other hand shakily holds Wilt & Rose and is hiding behind a tree. Qrow is heard yelling "WHERE ARE YOU?!" as another voice (completely new one, implied Taiyang) says "I think he went that way!" As their footsteps become more and more quiet, Adam lets out a huge breath of relief as he watches the two travel in the opposite way. He turns around and the camera cuts to a huge foot and blade with Adam's terrified face on it's reflection. The figure charges at a blinding speed and the camera cuts to a landscape view as a bunch of Ravens are seen flying out of a tree as if they were scared off. Qrow and Taiyang arrive quickly after. Taiyang is silent and Qrow can only mutter "The...hell..?" as Adam's body is seen covered all over in huge lacerations and stab wounds all over. His right arm however is missing as his slowly dying body is slumped against a tree.
Neo has presumably been floating for a long time as a sign that reads "Welcome to Vacuo!" sign is seen and she looks down, groans and says one word "Dammit." as she finally lands and out of frustration curb stomps some random Grimm that was hunting.
There's a table with a glass orb-like thing resting on a small cushion. A hooded figure with arcane/complex designs are looking over it as the 3 "maidens" walk into the room. The hooded figure goes "It looks like Autumn is gone. Winter, you know what to do." The other two "maidens" turn to the hooded figure and ask "But what of us?" as the hooded figure turns his hood (not enough to reveal his face, but that he has a bright, white eye) and the screen goes black.
Presumably Cinder died for whatever reason, be it Ozpin killed her, the dragon, whatever. Mercury and Emerald are seen running into an office-like room, of course with the cliche of the spinning chair turned around not revealing the Big Bad. "Cinder's dead." Mercury reports to this unknown person. "Oh, I know." is all that is replied as flames are seen erupting from all around the chair. "It seems Roman and Neo went M.I.A., however." Emerald continues after evil laughter stops. "Find them. And kill them." The two nod agreeing and leave the room.
The scene then cuts to Roman emerging out of the flames of the crashed airship and says "They took her from me. Now they'll pay." he exclaims in a super badass voice as his eyes turn a more Grimm-like red.
