What purpose should the word "woman" have? Why is it important? Can there be more than one correct definition of the word?

I didn't believe testosterone was accountable for increased aggression until saltdiamond showed me studies regarding it. But, I have said myself and have heard others say it is part of the reason men make us uncomfortable. To say that hormones determine everything about someone is indeed absurd, but to suggest that it doesn't contribute is equally absurd.

Not everyone is socialized the same. There are widely different cultures throughout the world. And not everyone internalizes those socialization the same way. To be afraid of men simply because of socialization implies that male people are incapable of change because they were taught to be one way growing up and they cannot escape it.

I understand how much people can internalize a single view of men due to consistent negative experiences throughout their life. I think that's truly understandable, and I don't judge people for it. But I don't believe every man feels enabled to be selfish and experiences "unbridled aggression." It sounds ridiculous to me, though I know many here will say "oh of course it does, you haven't had to put up with it and it's normal to you."

Your attribution of the problem to hormones and biology flies in the face of everything I stand for.

Hormones and biology do not determine everything, but they absolutely matter. Strength affects our emotions and behavior. Hormones affect our emotions and behavior.

You asked us why we felt uncomfortable sharing a space with male people.

No, I didn't. I believe the context was talking about discussion of certain experiences, going off of these words:

some women don't feel comfortable sharing their experiences with male born people.
