What’s an obvious sign someone’s american?

As much as I believe this would probably happen, I don't think it would be the death knell of the bar industry that bartenders on here make it out to be. All over the world people do literally the exact same job for a wage either without or on minimal tips and there's no shortage of students/people who need a second job/folk who are bored at night and want some extra cash, and even if it became a job with a massive turnover rate like it is over here (UK) I've never in my life heard of a bar that had to close specifically because it couldn't find staff.

95% of the time it's a job with an incredibly low entry level of skill, and I say that as someone who has worked in a good few bars over the years.

There would be an adjustment period, sure, but in my opinion after a few months to a year bars would be fully staffed again. I don't think the tips would completely dry up overnight either, it's far too ingrained in American culture.

All power to you though, without a union it is the best collective bargaining power you have.
