Then I read the comments and realize that “big deal” is involved with some people being upset. It didn’t occur to me that it would upset anyone and I’m reminded that this country has a lot of dumbasses who will be mad at anything that has nothing to do with them in any way… so the only explanation on why they are upset that makes sense to me is that they are racist.

Like holly shit.. can there just be something that someone can do that’s super significant to them and not have their race be an object? I’m happy for Lizzo that she got to do that, but I also kinda don’t care and it’s not that big of a deal. Why is that so hard for other people to do? The lack of logic of the whole thing baffles me. There is no logic in racism.
