Answer: Conservatives tend to follow the "every accusation is a confession" method of politics. Virtue Signaling is essentially taking up a cause pretty much in name only so that you can use it to show other people how morally righteous you are. They like to claim literally any and every progressive measure, bill, protest, etc. as "virtue signalling" as if to claim that anyone on the Left is only doing these actions for "social brownie points" rather than actually caring about the issue. Meanwhile, they masquerade bigotry towards minorities and catering to wealthy elites and businesses as "working for real (read: White, straight, and mostly male) Americans" despite most of thier measures actively working against the vast majority of Americans.
