What's going on with school libraries in Florida?

Welcome to the court system? They can charge someone with something, but it requires a jury to make the final decision on whether it fits. It's not like they can proactively determine what every book falls under. Now they have a list of books that are approved rather than banned. So welcome to the public library system, since they can't go ahead and buy every book, and they do review books that are coming in. The law didn't really change that much regarding prosecution of anything, it just requires more stringent review of books based on dumb arbitrary topics. They mostly just set age limits for specific topics from what I've seen, so same sex relationships are verboten as a topic until highschool. I don't personally agree with it, but it's not literally 1984 like it's being played off as. It's just mostly your typical reactionary bullshit.
