I accidentally derailed a train. I was 7, maybe 8, and lived by railroad tracks. One of the things I did to pass the time was put coins and small rocks on the tracks for the passing freight trains to smash and smoosh. I gradually increased the number of items I put on the rails to be smashed until the day where I went a rock or two too far. The train rolled over my line up of coins and rocks and as I was following behind, the last car started to sway. Then the mofo flipped over on its side and proceeded to tear up the railbed. By the time the train shuddered to a halt, the last two and a half cars of gravel were on its side and there was more than 100 yards of complete destruction behind it. And one amazed and scared little kid. I ran home and hid in my room. The police went around asking about what happened, but my aunt told them I had been inside all day.
