Oh, god. Where do I even start?

I guess one of the weirdest experiences was back in 1999 when I was 14 and we were out of country to visit my grandma (in Turkey) and stay the night, but I forgot to bring my pajamas. We somehow decided that I, a teenage BOY, would wear my mother's old nightgown.

That night (3 AM) one of the most devastating earthquakes happened (thousands died in the city I was in).

We ran outside and while buildings were collapsing all around us, corpses everywhere, people stuck under rubble, screaming for help and everyone scared shitless and in shock outside, a stranger looked at me and yelled "What the fuck are you wearing?!" and everyone around me looked was starting at me instead of the chaos that ensued.

Keep in mind that this is a rather religious area of Turkey.
