My mum will absolutely refuse, no matter how well informed i am on the subject at hand, to take my word for it. ESPECIALLY if it means admitting she was wrong in some way.

She also decides that because she's had a long day at work, as soon as she gets in, she's going to make sure everybody else has a worse day.

The woman will walk in the door and immidiately start looking for things to shout about. She goes apeshit over the smallest things and will not ' just fuck off ' sometimes, coming back again and again for relentless howling about the smallest things. Because of this I put 2 sliding bolt lock thingies on the top and bottom of my bedroom door, so I can catch a break sometimes, the rant that followed when she found out about this resulted in her breaking the top lock by pounding on my door once she realised I was trying not to pay any attention.

I've even caught her turning the garage light on after she walked in so she could blast me about leaving the light on...

Once had an argument with her because she refused to accept that the built in sat-nav in her new car was taking us a longer route than my phone.

'Hey follow this, it's a shorter distance' "No it isn't." 'Yeah it is, look" "NO! This is my brand new car it's modern, your phone is wrong! Stop trying to belittle my new car!" Me, litterally staring at the 'route length' on her car being over a mile longer than Google maps. (Not a huge amount but we were late) 'Ok mum'
