Oh, you mean those three countries with non-functioning governments and that bear no resemblance to America whatsoever? Golly gee, can't imagine why.

But I'm sure it's a big ol' coincidence that Sweden, Norway, Japan, Australia, Iceland, Austria, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Luxemborg, and 100+ other countries have a fraction of our homicide rate. Just a coincidence!

Hell, we have 7 times the homicide rate of China! Woo Hoo, what an achievement right?!

And of the entire Western, modern world we have the worst homicide rate by many times over! YAY US!

SUUUUUUUUUUURE, we could be like all those "normal" countries and actually protect our citizens, but that would involve you having ot make a sacrifice of not having your pretty toys anymore :(

And golly gee, if we have to choose between your toys and thousands of deaths, how's that even a discussion?! Fuck dead children, fuck their parents, fuck the screams of the dying! They won't infringe on your weekend fun, nosiree!
