So, I was at a Lebowski bar in Iceland with a friend. We were sitting pretty close to the DJ, and he wasn't playing anything from the soundtrack so I wanted to put a quick request in. My friend was totally against it, saying I should let the DJ do his thing, whatever. So I comply. But then, there's a brief equipment malfunction and the music goes quiet, so I holler out asking for some Credence... So music comes back on, cuts midsong and all of a sudden, CCR!

I was pretty happy at this point, and we were getting pretty drunk. Drunk enough that my buddy now wanted to request a song! I was into it, even after his lecture from earlier.

So I go up to the DJ podium this time, thank him from earlier and ask for one more request... Land Down Under. His expression got really serious and he asked me to come around the podium. I look at his playlist and coming up next... Land Down Under! Had a good laugh about it and even got to buy him a beer when he was wrapping up his shift.
