What is the ultimate goal of Michigan's liberal/Democratic/Progressive Left?

Wow, if you’re going to try to compare Flint with some of the largest cities in the US, and think that’s a fair comparison, who’s really cherry picking?

The problem with Flint is that there is no real industry there anymore. There was, but then NAFTA happened (thanks Clinton), and nowhere are the effects of NAFTA felt harder than in this state. It’s funny that this should come up today. I drove past the American Axle HQ last night and was reminded of the sweetheart deal they got after they slowly tanked their production levels here after moving most of their production to Mexico, forces wage cuts on their employees, blew them off when they went on strike, then just closed the factory a year later anyways. “Free trade” seems pretty pricy doesn’t it?
